Burbank Place

Huck Elling August 1, 2025

Through the Let It Shine initiative, I developed a program for young people in Berkshire County to learn about and create public art. We met twice a week, for six weeks, in downtown Pittsfield. We learned about public art that inspires us and we reviewed applications for two open calls for murals in our community. After our research period, we collaboratively designed our own public art. We painted in the hot sun, played our favorite songs, had fun, and made a mural that we can all be proud of.
